You get home from the store, rinse the berries in a colander over the sink, then dump them into whatever's clean — a bowl, a bag, the container they came in. By day two, half of them have gone soft. By day three, you're picking through the box for the ones that made it.
The usual fixes don't really solve it. A colander only washes — it doesn't store. A zip bag traps condensation right against the fruit. A fancy produce keeper takes up a whole shelf by itself, and you still need something else to wash in first.
Produce shouldn't need this much babysitting.
